 The Maruti Alto has reportedly overtaken the Maruti 800 as the most popular car in the Indian market. Essentially the same engine parameters as the Maruti 800, it has a 0.8L 12V FC engine with MPFI technology.
The engine is capable of delivering 47 PS at 6200 rpm and a maximum torque of 62 NM @ 3000 rpm.With a 5 speed manual gear and a seating capability of five people, it offers great driving in city conditions.
